Then - President Bush was tough and gritty and refused to bend his morals and national safety to the whim of public opinion. In 2000, after President Bush beat Al Gore, I didn't much care but after 9/11 I knew we had elected the right leader. He took action and kept America safe for 8 years while refusing to chase public opinion by following the liberals who cried and whined for those 8 years over the loss of their hero, fat Al.
